You’d be hard-pressed to find someone who knows Dranetz, or the power quality world, better than Thurman Bridgers, our Northeast Regional Sales Manager.

Since 1986, Thurman has been a constant for our customers across his region. He covers a wide swath of states: from New England down to Virginia and across to the Dakotas. After nearly four decades, he’s built a reputation rooted in trust, responsiveness, and deep technical know-how.

“I hate saying no,” he says. That’s not a catchphrase, it’s how he works. Whether it’s a long-time client or a new distributor, Thurman treats every interaction with the same level of care. “They all deserve the same level of service, no shortcuts.”

A Fixer and a Relationship Builder

Ask Thurman what keeps him going after all these years, and it’s simple: solving problems and building strong relationships. Those two things go hand in hand. 

One recent example that stands out involved a cannabis grow facility dealing with mysterious equipment failures. The customer had no experience with power quality issues, but their environment was so sensitive that any equipment hiccup meant throwing away product and revenue.

“We introduced proactive monitoring,” Thurman explains. “We showed them how it could pinpoint the cause of the issue and help them avoid downtime. That one conversation turned into a long-term solution.”

There’s No Such Thing as Routine

His role is more layered than many realize, calling for a high level of product and industry expertise. And despite his tenure, Thurman says the job can still surprise him. “Just when you think you’ve seen it all, something new pops up and gets your brain working in a different way.”

Off the Clock

When he’s not meeting with customers or diving into another power quality challenge, you’ll find Thurman outside. He enjoys cycling, hiking, photography, and playing guitar. He’s also a longtime fan of the NY Giants, Mets, and Knicks—teams that, like Thurman, know a thing or two about perseverance.
