PES
PES is a powerful yet easy-to-use software package that is ideal for systems comprised of one to fifty instruments. PES can be configured for dial-up communication, automatic download, call back, or direct connection. The features available in PES depend on the instrument to which it is connected.
Customize threshold settings for RMS disturbances, interruptions, and transients.
Pagers & Telephone Numbers
Configure a PQPager to make up to four separate phone calls to a variety of paging services and/or IBM/PC master stations.
Outgoing Phone Calls
Control the types of events that will be recorded
Specify which phone numbers will be called when an event takes place
Limit the number of calls in one day to each phone number
Control whether oldest or newest events will be saved if memory is completely filled
Scheduling Downloads
Specify which remote instruments will be contacted by your master station PC, and how frequently.
Real Time Meters
When your PC is connected to an instrument via RS-232 serial connection or modem, you can select Meters Mode to see live RMS voltage, current, and power parameters. (PQPager RMS volts is shown.)
Real Time Scopes
When your PC is connected to an instrument via RS-232 serial connection or modem, the PES Scope Mode lets you view from one to four separate displays of live waveforms, phasors, polar plots and/or FFT spectra. (PQPager voltage signals are shown in this example.)
Strip Charts
View one or more minimum-average-maximum strip charts of measured signals like volts, amps, and watts.
Zoom in and out, and make precise measurements using the pairs of X and Y cursors. (PQPager RMS voltage signals are shown in this example.)
Sags & Swells
View one or more RMS disturbance graphs.
Zoom in and out, and make precise measurements using the pairs of X and Y cursors. (A 3-phase voltage sag recorded by a PQPager is shown in this example.)
Transients
View one or more channels of recorded transient signals.
Zoom in and out, and you can make precise measurements using the pairs of X and Y cursors. (A voltage transient recorded by a PQPager is shown in this example.)
